Qianjing 2*3500Nm3 Hydrogen Poduction From Natural Gas , SMR Hydrogen Plant

 

 

Technology Application:

 

Crude hydrogen (mainly CH4, Co, CO2, H2 and H2O) is produced from natural gas (low carbon chain hydrocarbons) by steam reforming process, and then purified by pressure swing adsorption technology to obtain hydrogen with purity meeting the requirements of users.
The natural gas is compressed to the appropriate pressure (according to the user's gas consumption and the optimal operating pressure) by the compressor, and then it is preheated for fine desulfurization. Then it enters the reformer with a certain proportion of steam for reaction. Then it passes through the waste heat boiler of the reformer gas, recovers the heat of the reformer gas, and enters the intermediate reformer for conversion reaction to obtain the crude hydrogen. After a series of heat exchange and cooling, the natural gas is cooled, Enter the pressure swing adsorption device, and finally purify.

 

Carbon monoxide shift reaction

 

Reforming gas will have its temperature lowered to 360℃ or so after waste heat recovers heat and enters medium temperature reformer. Carbon dioxide and hydrogen will be generated through reaction of carbon monoxide and steam under the function of iron catalysts. The main reaction is as follows:

CO+H2O→CO2+H2+Q

Since CO shift reaction is exothermic reaction, low temperature is beneficial to shift balance and higher CO shift rate can be obtained; thus hydrogen production of unit raw material can be improved.
